This was one of a pair of paintings, Holly and Ivy, on which I based some Christmas Cards.  The paintings were done digitally with an Apple ipen and ipad, and I wanted to steer away from the usual bright and colourful Christmas images.  I really wanted to achieve a soft, semi-dark image for these paintings.  They are presented in a 25cm square ivory mount and cellophane bag.
